  • More than meets the eye

We had so much fun making this together! Isaiah was excited to wear it to the harvest party!

Pictures of our night at the harvest party:

Ethan was not feeling so well, poor little guy!
He was going to be a puppy....but try putting a costume on a cranky baby...no fun.

Mostly I just got this look all night.
"Mom pick me up, I'm sick."

Daddy was running around keeping everything going all night, but I managed one photo when Ethan caught up with him. It was a fun evening. Thanks to everyone for helping out.

  • Pumpkins and Parables

Last night we had a chance to carve pumpkins with the kids. It was so much fun, and I am happy to report that their where no injuries!

Isaiah has been studying parables in his Bible class this year so I thought it would be fun to read the story, "The Pumpkin Patch Parable" by Liz Curtis Higgs, to kids while we were carving. I love this story! It really gives you the picture of how important we are to God. I don't think that I will ever look at pumpkin quite the same way again.

    More pumpkin pictures:

Isaiah~ he was very serious about drawing the face.

Belle helping to clean out the inside.

Lot of seeds....and lots of mess. For the grandmas~ yes Isaiah has a knife and yes he still has all of his fingers.

    Helping Belle carve her pumpkin.

Putting a light inside...because we all need to let our lights shine! :)

  • Dave Ramsey would be so proud

Isaiah wanted to earn some money this past week, so he had to work for it!

What a guy he raked and raked...and then raked some more!

Now for the hard part...the clean up!

The best part is the pay-off!  Save, Spend, and Give!

  • A Great Season!

Today was the last soccer game of the season. It has gone by so fast this year! The kids missed nearly two weeks of practice and games because of the  early snow.

However, fall has returned and today the kids got to play in warm fifty degree temps. Yeah!
Isaiah did so well this year. As a matter of fact today's game was the best that we have seen him play. This year the coaches really focused on passing and playing as a team. The kids have learned so much!

The coaches also presented the kids with dog tags after the last game.

Each one had the child's name, the year and the name of the team.
    So much fun!

Here is a photo of Coach Todd giving Isaiah his dog tags!

Then there are always Isaiah's cheerleaders

    Ethan was the ball boy.

Isabelle loves to go to games as long as there is food. She is a sweetie, but not much for the cold.

    Until next season....

  • Time for hats and scarfs

We had our first snow last weekend.
I was hoping we would have fall first, but who knows maybe the snow will melt and then fall will come back. You never know here in Montana anything is possible.

    Snow angels anyone?

Isabelle makes such cute little snow angels.
You can see the grass and leaves through the snow. This gives me hope that fall may come back!
